What You Get as a Member

When you join the Bucktown Community Organization, you get more than a name on a list — you become part of the neighborhood infrastructure.

As a member, you can expect:

● A stronger connection to Bucktown through neighborhood events, meetings, and

community gatherings

● An opportunity to provide feedback on neighborhood priorities, including how

funds are used and what projects BCO takes on

● Early access and invitations to member-focused events and meetings

● Growing neighborhood perks, including discounts and special offers at local

Bucktown businesses

● A direct line to the people organizing and advocating for Bucktown’s shared

spaces

What Your Membership Supports

Your membership dues — along with funds raised through other vents — are reinvested

directly back into Bucktown.

Membership helps fund:

● Care and maintenance of shared green spaces, including Bucktown Green

● Support and partnerships with other community groups, including local parks and

schools

● Neighborhood beautification projects, including sponsored public art like Wings of

Change by Hilde DeBruyne

● Community events that bring neighbors together and strengthen Bucktown’s

sense of place

In short: your membership dollars are transformed into visible, local impact.

Why Membership Matters

BCO is a nonprofit run by neighbors, for neighbors. We don’t exist without

member support.

Membership is how you can connect with the neighborhood and make your

presence heard. Your dues directly fund the things that make the neighborhood

better — not just for today, but for the future.
