Bringing Community to Bucktown

The Bucktown Community Organization is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) which reinvests capital from membership dues and the Garden Walk directly into neighborhood development. Our mission includes revitalizing public spaces, fostering resident-business partnerships, and enriching the community through local programming.

Our Work in Bucktown

1) Bringing Neighbors Together

BCO creates opportunities for Bucktown residents to connect and feel part of the

community. We host neighborhood events, community meetings, and civic forums that

help neighbors meet each other and stay informed about what’s happening locally.

2) Strengthening Bucktown Through Local Business Partnerships

We work with Bucktown businesses to make the neighborhood more vibrant, walkable,

and connected. Through retail events, community programming, and partnerships, we

help support a neighborhood where local businesses and residents invest in each other.

3) Investing in Visible Neighborhood Improvements

BCO reinvests membership dues and event funds into projects that improve Bucktown.

This includes support for parks and green spaces, neighborhood beautification efforts,

public art, and other tangible improvements that make the community better for

everyone.
